I’m Sophie Chi, a mechanical engineering student at Duke University. I enjoy the engineering process of translating ideas or questions into building physical solutions.

Right now, I’m looking for experiences and opportunities where I can work alongside ambitious people on hands-on projects that leave a positive impact on society.

In my free time, I enjoy doing anything outdoors, whether it be hiking, backpacking, running, cycling, or taking my dog on walks. I ran cross country and track throughout high school and am continuing to run for fun with Duke Club Running. I am also currently training for a marathon!

You can also find me reading a good book (I love anything written by Taylor Jenkins Reid), or expressing my creative side by handmaking cards or painting banners for special occasions. Much of my creative work can be found on my Instagram account.
